Looking for a Resident Evil Requiem walkthrough? Capcom’s latest survival horror experience is upon us, and it’s a dark game that invites series newbie Grace Ashcroft and everyone’s favourite grizzled veteran Leon S. Kennedy to investigate the past and learn the intricacies of one of Umbrella’s most hidden secrets. “Requiem” is a fitting name for this ninth entry in the long-running franchise, as in many ways, this game serves as an ode to everything that’s come before it.
With two playable characters bouncing back and forth between interwoven segments, not to mention plenty of puzzles to solve and zombies to shoot along the way, RE9 is one of the beefier mainline Resident Evil games. To help you get your bearings, we’ve put together this handy hub page for our Resident Evil Requiem walkthrough. This one-stop shop will act as your personal typewriter and save point if you ever feel lost!
Here, we’ll list all of our walkthroughs from the entirety of Resident Evil Requiem’s main story. For the sake of convenience, my colleague Callum will be tackling the sections of the game that focus on Grace, while I’ll handle Leon’s segments. Under each part of the RE9 walkthrough, you’ll also find handy links to separate guides that will be vital during your playthrough.

Chapter 1: Wrenwood Hotel & Elbridge
Dark secrets await Grace as she returns to the scene of her mother’s death. |

The opening stretch of Resident Evil Requiem sees Grace Ashcroft visiting the Wrenwood Hotel, where her mother Alyssa met an untimely end eight years ago. Meanwhile, Leon Kennedy faces a horde of the living dead as they descend upon the midwestern city of Elbridge.

Chapter 2: Rhodes Hill 1 (The Girl)

Terrors truly escalate as Grace awakens in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, a mental institution that is home to the dangerous Victor Gideon, not to mention The Girl – a hulking, shadowy monstrosity designed to make Grace’s life a living nightmare. Leon follows suit, and has to deal with his own problems in Rhodes Hill.

Chapter 3: Rhodes Hill 2 (The Quartz pieces & Victor’s Office)

Welcome to classic Resident Evil, as you navigate the twisted contours of Rhodes Hill to find all three Quartz pieces to open the exit door. Grace will need all of her wits about her as she dodges zombies left and right, many of which have their own unique behaviours that are totally new to the Resident Evil series.

Grace finds herself in the dank depths of the Rhodes Hill Basement, where she’ll have to save her newfound companion Emily. Zombies trapped in cells, a host of nefarious puzzles, and more than a few bloody close calls await before Emily can be brought back above, safe and sound.

We’re almost out of Rhodes Hill, but there are still some remaining challenges to confront. Grace must find a key for a chopper, Leon uses his sniping skills to save the day, and a tragedy strikes in the nearby Water Treatment Plant.

Chapter 6: East Raccoon City

Leon takes centre stage here, as he explores the outskirts of Raccoon City and attempts to bypass a gate that separates the nuked site of the first few Resident Evil games. Prepare for lots of objectives, some zombies right out of Mad Max, and a motorcycle chase to end all motorcycle chases.

It’s fan service galore in this part of the game, as Leon visits several locales right out of Resident Evil 2, including the Raccoon City Police Department. He’ll also face some familiar foes before descending into the heart of the city. Meanwhile, Grace experiences extreme revelations regarding her past.

It’s all come down to this, as the Resident Evil Requiem campaign draws to a dramatic close. Leon ventures into the crater that marks the middle of Raccoon City and finds ARK, a secret hideout to end all secret hideouts. As a million revelations occur at once, will Grace and Leon be able to come together to discover the truth behind the mysterious Elpis?
